Halo 3 Flood Infection Forms Props (Recycled)

A lot of crafting with cosplay and props can often lead to piles of scraps building up. For those like me, it feels horrible to throw them out because you’re wasting material; but otherwise it just sits around. So, I decided to put my scraps to good use and make some flood infection forms from Halo 3!

These flood infection forms were made from leftover EVA foam and aluminium foil from previous projects. Only a few parts, such as the foam clay and paints, were new.

These lil’ parasites were even featured by Halo themselves! They starred in the 2020 Halo Waypoint Community Spotlight, as well as the Halo Instagram page in 2021. You can find more about the build of these lil’ guys (along with free patterns) over on the 405th here.
